1. THE PORT OF IBIZA<\/p>\n

This is the hub of the island, where you can see the yachts and boats come in to the hustle and bustle of the island. Enjoy the many restaurants serving up fresh seafood, tapas and paella, a favourite in Spain. The bars and markets are open until late, so it\u2019s well worth a visit and a look around until the early hours.<\/p>\n

2. CALA COMTE<\/p>\n

The sandy beach of Cala Comte is a favourite among locals and tourists alike. Surrounded by two rocky cliff slides, the beach is sandy and safe to swim for all the family. Even after weeks of exploring beaches in Ibiza we always come back to this one.<\/p>\n

3. THE HIPPY MARKET<\/p>\n

Since the early 60\u2019s when the hippies came over and settled on the island, Ibiza has remained known as a spiritual island known for its artistic roots. The hippy markets are dotted around the island but the most famous are Punta Arabi on Wednesday in Es Cana and the Las Dalias market on Saturdays in San Carlos.<\/p>\n

4. TARIDA BEACH<\/p>\n

Situated on the South West side of the island, Cala Tarida and the surrounding beaches are a perfect place for a spot of snorkelling. With a few beach side restaurants, this is a perfect place to sit back, enjoy the view and enjoy some great paella as you watch the world go by.<\/p>\n

5. BLUE MARLIN<\/p>\n

Get your glad rags on and get ready for a spot of people watching at this classy venue. It\u2019s a place to see and be seen. With great music and vibes throughout the day, you can book a bed and spend all day in the sun sipping on cocktails until after sunset. This place gets very busy in the high season so make sure you reserve to avoid disappointment.<\/p>\n

6. DALT VILLA<\/p>\n

The picturesque castle in Ibiza town is a must see for all tourists in Ibiza. The romantically lit paths and walkways make this a perfect evening walk after a bit of dinner in one of the restaurants in Ibiza town. The area is buzzing with people day and night, a real treat for your holiday.<\/p>\n

7. SANTA GETRUDIS<\/p>\n

Located in the middle of the island, this town is often refereed to as the heart of Ibiza. The town has a square, a church and follows many of the same traditions Ibiza is famous for. There are lots of restaurants, bars and shops to enjoy as well as beautiful landscape complete with sheep, goats and cows.<\/p>\n

8. ATLANTIS<\/p>\n

Atlantis in Ibiza is opposite the island of es Vedra. It\u2019s notorious among the locals and those in the know as one of the spiritual cores of Ibiza. It\u2019s tough going to get down there and takes about 20 minutes, if you\u2019re a fitty, could be an hour if you\u2019re not.<\/p>\n

The area was once used as a quarry to farm the stones to build the walls of Ibiza Town. Now the strange rock formations seem perfectly carved to create a great spot to sit in the cool winds, and it\u2019s fun to make wishing towers from the smaller ones. Take all your drinks and food because you can\u2019t buy anything there.<\/p>\n

9. THE SALINAS<\/p>\n

The beach of Salines is located at the Southern end of the island and is home to the salt fields on Ibiza. Impressive views as you drive through, this beach is a favourite among locals as well as tourists with a number of beach clubs along the seafront including Jockey Club, Malibu and Sa Trinxa.<\/p>\n

10. SAN JORDI MARKET<\/p>\n

Every Saturday throughout the year a car boot sale market pops up which is very popular with locals. Selling everything from new, old and very used, expect to find a few gems among the rough here as anything goes. Best to get along early to get the pick of the best bits.<\/p>\n
