From BA<\/strong> to Jet2<\/strong>, Vueling<\/strong> to RyanAir<\/strong>. Whether you’re based in Newcastle or Norway. You can get here with minimal fuss during the summer months.<\/p>\n

Check out their websites directly, or save time and visit comparison sites such as Sky Scanner<\/a> or KAYAK<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Offering you the lowest priced deals around.<\/p>\n

It’s also worth looking for discount codes<\/strong> on Google for reduced prices, which can be entered upon booking. All you have to do is type the company name and then ‘Discount Codes<\/strong>‘. For example, ‘British Airways Discount Codes<\/strong>‘ or ‘Sky Scanner Discount Codes<\/strong>‘. Please note that they don’t always work, but it’s definitely worth giving them a try.<\/p>\n

There are hundreds of hotels on the island, from no-frills to luxury breaks.<\/p>\n

Just like the flights, you can also compare hotels via Google<\/strong> to check out the best prices or star ratings.<\/p>\n

Booking.com<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is a great site to find the perfect hotel, b&b or guesthouse. You can pick your own dates, and filter the settings too.<\/p>\n

Whether you want a pool or to be close to the beach, it has all the important selections available. With pictures of your potential choice, you can decide whether it’s right for you or not.<\/p>\n

We also recommend typing your chosen hotel on Trip Advisor<\/strong><\/a> too, so you can see real<\/strong> reviews of past visitors. That said, it’s also a good idea to check their social media accounts. Instagram<\/strong> is a great one for tagged posts. Offering an insight from guests who have stayed there recently.<\/p>\n

Transport<\/h1>\n

When you arrive you can either hop in a taxi from outside the airport<\/strong>, get a bus<\/a><\/strong> or book a private transfer.<\/strong> Simple!<\/p>\n

If you’re looking to hire a car, then we can recommend Moto Luis<\/strong><\/a>. They have an excellent reputation on the island, and are an established company that have been providing transport for tourists for over 50 years.<\/p>\n

What’s more, you can collect you vehicle right outside the airport when you arrive!<\/p>\n

Please do your research when you’re looking to hire transport from other companies<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The busses connect to many popular resorts on the island during the summer season. Making it one of the best options for people who don’t have a car.<\/p>\n

Whether you’re staying in San Antonio<\/strong>, Playa d’en Bossa<\/strong> or Es Canar<\/strong>, it’s pretty easy to get to and from all the main resorts.<\/p>\n

Ibiza Bus<\/strong><\/a> is the website where you’ll find all the information on getting from A to B pretty easily.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0is a small Island, and whilst there’s good transport links during peak season, that doesn’t mean you can get to everywhere<\/em> you want to go by bus.<\/p>\n

The more secluded spots require a car or taxi. You can however jump on a bus close to where you want to go, and then hop in a cab from there. Money saving tip, you’re welcome!<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the clubs, the\u00a0Disco Bus<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>is the way to go if you’re not looking to spend a fortune all week on taxis. Leaving from\u00a0San Antonio<\/strong>, Playa d’en Bossa<\/strong> and Ibiza Town. <\/strong>They stop by all the big parties on the island, and run right through the night until the clubs close. This means you getting home hassle-free, and still having enough money left for a pizza. It’s a win win situation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Taxis<\/strong> charge on a meter here so they’re not the cheapest option, but they will get you to your chosen destination safely. If however you’re in a remote location, you may struggle to get one to come to you without a pin location .<\/p>\n

Download the Taxi Click<\/a><\/strong> app, register and book your lift!<\/p>\n

You can add your location, and your driver will know where to find you. Make sure you are exactly where you say you’ll be, as they sometimes have a tendency to drive off if they can’t find you right away.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Safety<\/h1>\n

Ibiza<\/strong> is no different to anywhere else. It’s safe as long as you’re sensible.<\/p>\n

The thing with all tourist destinations, is that travellers are more susceptible to having belongings taken. Especially if they’re\u00a0unintentionally exposing them to potential thieves.<\/p>\n

Leave the Rolex and diamond rings at home.<\/h3>\n

We know you love your favourite watch or necklace. If it’s worth a fortune, just don’t bring it to be on the safe side.\u00a0Bringing valuables to a club and having them in view of others is never a good idea.<\/p>\n

Keep money available on different cards, and leave one card in your hotel safe. It’s always advisable to set up a transfer option between different accounts too.<\/p>\n

That way you can block a card if it’s been lost or stolen, and then simply transfer your funds to another card.<\/p>\n

It’s not just about theft though. You can easily misplace important items here, especially after a few drinks!<\/p>\n

Keep your wits about you, and don’t wander off alone. Especially if you’re intoxicated. And never leave your friends if\u00a0you’re here with them.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are a lot of pirate taxis on the island too. And while it’s tempting to get a cheaper or quicker ride, it’s never advised<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A lot of them to get you to your destination with minimal fuss, just looking to make some extra cash in the summer. However they’re not legally licensed to carry you. You also run the risk of being put in a situation you cannot control. Wait for a normal taxi, or stay where you are until you can get back to your hotel.<\/p>\n

If you feel unsafe<\/strong> then you can call the police on 112<\/strong>. If you’re a victim of crime then you should contact the police on +34\u00a0902 102 112<\/strong>\u00a0(to speak in English).<\/p>\n

Call\u00a0+34 91 714 6300<\/strong> or +44 20 7008 5000<\/strong> if you’re British<\/strong>, and would like to speak with the consulate<\/a><\/strong> in an emergency.<\/p>\n

You can also report it at your local station here. Just ask to make a ‘denuncia’.<\/h4>\n

A lot of the main venues have an ‘Ask for Angela<\/a><\/strong>‘\u00a0policy here too. If you feel unsafe at an event, then you can ask any member of staff to find ‘Angela<\/strong>‘ for you.<\/p>\n

They are trained to understand that you might need help, and will take you to a safe space<\/strong> while they assess the situation.<\/p>\n

Please note that not all venues currently use this system, however they all have professionals working to keep people safe. If they don’t understand about Angela<\/strong>, then you can just say you need to be taken somewhere safe.<\/p>\n

You can even write it on a napkin and hand it to a bar member (or someone working on the premises). That was you won’t draw any attention to a potential bad situation.<\/p>\n

You’re almost more than likely to enjoy your holiday without a glitch. Everyone does!<\/h4>\n

It’s a happy, beautiful island full of likeminded people.<\/h4>\n

However things can happen from time to time, so it’s best to have the correct information at hand should you need it.<\/p>\n

Again, Ibiza is a safe place. You just need to remember that although you’re on holiday, you still need to look out for yourself and your friends<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Health<\/h1>\n

It’s easy to forgot how warm it is here sometimes, especially if you’ve been overindulging a bit. We don’t want to sound like your mum, but remember to drink plenty of water. It can also reduce hangover symptoms, which can only be a good thing.<\/p>\n

No one likes being hungover in Ibiza. Trust us, we know!<\/p>\n

ALWAYS<\/strong>\u00a0get travel insurance. You never know when you may need it. Trips and falls can happen, so make sure you’re covered. You don’t want to end up with a huge bill at the end of it.<\/p>\n

If you think you’ve broken a bone then head straight for the main public hospital in Ibiza Town<\/strong> with an X-Ray machine, Can Misses<\/a>. Please call 112<\/strong> for serious injuries, if you can’t make your own way to the hospital.<\/p>\n

If you don’t mind going private then there are of course, plenty of medical centres<\/a><\/strong> available. None of which are cheap, but are effective.\u00a0Policl\u00ednica Ntra. Se\u00f1ora del Rosario<\/strong><\/a> in Ibiza Town is open 24\/h. You also have the public medical centre in San Antonio<\/a>, however this is only for minor injuries and infections etc.<\/p>\n

If you don’t speak Spanish then Google translate may help your medical professional understand your issue. Although it can sometimes say completely the wrong thing, which can often be amusing for both parties.<\/p>\n

Oh, and unless you want to be mistaken for Sebastian from the little mermaid<\/strong>, don’t forget the SUN CREAM<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Clubs<\/h1>\n

If you’re looking to party then you’re in the right place. Ibiza<\/strong> is the clubbing capital of the world after all!<\/p>\n

You can buy your tickets from our website<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Only paying a deposit to secure, and the rest when you arrive! You would need to then come to one of our OFFICIAL TICKET OUTLETS\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>to pay the remainder, before collecting your ticket.<\/p>\n

If we don’t have your chosen party available online, then you can pay on the door.<\/p>\n

Never hand your money over to anyone in the street offering you club tickets<\/strong>,\u00a0if they’re not from an outlet.<\/p>\n

Reputable ticket sellers will be outside their shops<\/strong>. They can prove they are legit by taking you inside, or to their stall directly outside the shop.<\/p>\n

If you hand your money to a random on the street, you’re more than likely be refused entry at the door. What a waste of your hard earned cash!<\/p>\n

There are many street PR<\/strong>‘s offering free or discounted entry to the main clubs here too. These bands are to be shown upon entry, and paid for on the door. Unless they state FREE ENTRY<\/strong> of course, then you’re good to go.<\/p>\n

The club bands are fine to take without payment, and can often save you bundles on door prices!\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Again, don’t<\/strong> hand your money over to anyone other than the official ticket outlets, or the club door hosts.<\/p>\n

Alcohol\u00a0<\/strong><\/h1>\n

There’s no denying that the main resorts are popular with those who love to drink alcohol on a night out.<\/p>\n

It often goes hand in hand, especially with first timers in another country. The bars are lively and there’s people everywhere. Normally, the shots are often flowing too.<\/p>\n

You can happily enjoy your drinks in the bars, clubs or terraces here. Just be aware that it is illegal to drink alcohol openly in the street<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While we’re sure you’ll do it anyway (and more than likely to be ok), just know that accidentally bumping into a grumpy officer<\/em> could result in a hefty fine.<\/p>\n

It’s always best to have your drink in a plastic cup! Top tip!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The media\u00a0have been printing a lot of misinformation lately, about a limit on alcohol consumption in all-inclusive hotels in San Antonio.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a certain zone that it applies to, however there are no all inclusive hotels within that zone<\/strong>, therefore:<\/p>\n

Currently, there’s no alcohol restrictions on any all inclusive hotels in Ibiza.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Book that package holiday if you want to, and enjoy as many drinks as you wish!<\/p>\n

Places to visit<\/h1>\n

If you want to explore then perfect! With so many amazing places to see as a newcomer to the island, you’re in for a treat! Some of our top spots we recommend are Playa d’en Bossa<\/strong> beach (great parties), Es Vedra<\/strong> view point<\/a>, Las Dalias<\/a> Market, Salinas<\/a>, Dalt Vila<\/a>, Sa Pedrera<\/strong> (Atlantis<\/strong>) and of course, the stunning island of Formentera<\/strong>.
