There’s something special about autumn and winter on Ibiza<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Those specific seasons bring a certain magic to the air, on which is completely different to the magic of summer.<\/p>\n

It’s so different, and oh so special.<\/p>\n

We know that come the end of September direct flights from the UK are limited to City Airport in London.<\/p>\n

But if you’re travelling from anywhere else in the world (or don’t mind two flights), then you can easily travel from a range of destinations.<\/p>\n

You can still party out of a typical summer season here too.<\/p>\n

Whilst the main clubs may be closing (or closed), that doesn’t mean us locals hang up our dancing shoes until May.<\/p>\n

Far from it.<\/p>\n

There’s still plenty of fantastic smaller parties that pop up across the island.<\/p>\n

Whether you’re here to dance or relax, there’s definitely something to keep you fulfilled during your stay.<\/p>\n

Here’s some of our favourite things to do over the cooler months on the white isle.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Explore<\/h1>\n

Ibiza<\/strong> is beautiful. There’s no doubt about that. Even when you fly over the pine-cladded mountains, surrounded by turquoise waters, you know you are looking at at a little slice of heaven<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Being on the land is something quite unique.<\/p>\n

And getting out and about is a must at that time of year.<\/p>\n

From hiking in the hills overlooking sights such as Es Vedra<\/strong> and Es cap Bernat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To venturing out to places such as Salinas<\/strong> salt-flats to watch the flamingos <\/strong>‘doing their thing’.<\/p>\n

Or even capturing those dramatic sunset afterglows<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With sunny days and colder nights, it’s the perfect mix if you want to enjoy some rays. But still feel cosy in the evenings.<\/p>\n

Hire a car or moped and get out and about. With some hidden treasures to be found around many corner, you won’t regret it.<\/p>\n

Shop<\/h1>\n

Yes you can shop anywhere, but Ibiza<\/strong> is home to some truly wonderful boutiques.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately many of these close after the summer season ends, but you can still find some pretty fabulous spots to take advantage of the trusty credit card.<\/p>\n

If you’re into your high-street haunts then you’ll be able to find the likes of Zara<\/strong>, Mango<\/strong>, Bershka<\/strong> and many more. Along with a selection of other great go-to retail therapy businesses, located in\u00a0Vara de Rey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Grab some beautiful cushions or candles in Zara Home<\/strong>, or maybe treat yourself to a new fragrance at Clap\u00e9s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ibiza Town<\/strong> pretty much has it all, but if you fancy venturing further afield then one place we highly recommend is Sluiz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Santa Gertrudis<\/strong>\u00a0fashion, home and accessory store has recently moved down the road, and is ‘another world<\/strong><\/em>‘ for eccentric shopping.<\/p>\n

Think weird, whacky and wonderful. Plus some really beautiful items that you won’t find anywhere else on the island.<\/p>\n

Or, if you’re after some bargain hunting then San Jordi<\/strong> market is the place to be on a Saturday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Sluiz<\/p><\/div>\n

Dance<\/h1>\n

You can dance the night away, 357 days a year here on Ibiza<\/strong>. Whether it be in a bar or a outdoor event.<\/p>\n

You’ll never be bored, so don’t let anyone tell you any different.<\/p>\n

From nights in Dalt Vila<\/strong> at bars such as Lola’s<\/strong> and Paradise Lost<\/strong>, to daytime shindigs at Las Dalias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There’s something for everyone, including families.<\/p>\n

Some of the larger clubs also host special events over this time too.<\/p>\n

From Chinois<\/strong> in Botafoch<\/strong> to Eden<\/strong> in San Antonio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If you’re thinking about flying over for New Year<\/strong>, then Pacha<\/strong>, L\u00edo<\/strong>, DC10<\/strong> and plenty of other famous venues re-open for the occasion.<\/p>\n

You just need to keep an eye on all of their socials for updates.<\/p>\n

Lola’s<\/p><\/div>\n

Eat<\/h1>\n

If you’re a foodie then you’re in the right place. From\u00a0Traditional Ibicenco<\/strong>\u00a0cuisine to Spanish<\/strong>,\u00a0Vietnamese<\/strong>,\u00a0Italian<\/strong>, French<\/strong>, Caribbean<\/strong>\u00a0and more.<\/p>\n

Your options might be slightly reduced compared to the peak-season, but they’re still in abundance.<\/p>\n

Some of the best places to dine are towns such as Santa Eulalia<\/strong>, which is home to ‘restaurant street<\/strong>‘. A place that leaves you spoilt for choice, and your tastebuds tingling.<\/p>\n

San Antonio<\/strong> is also a stellar choice.<\/p>\n

With eateries such as Es Ventall<\/strong>, Es Nautic<\/strong>, Venezia<\/strong>,\u00a0Golden Buddha <\/strong>providing\u00a0many tasty offerings to keep your tastebuds satisfied.<\/p>\n

And that’s not all, as there’s many more restaurants dotted across the island to tickle for your fancy.<\/p>\n

From The Boathouse<\/strong> in Cala San Vicente<\/strong>, Amalur<\/strong> in Santa Gertrudis<\/strong>, Chimichurri<\/strong> in San Jos\u00e9 <\/strong>and C\u00f4t\u00f4<\/strong> in San Rafael<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

And that’s just to name a few.<\/p>\n

Are you the creative type? If that’s a yes then you’ve struck gold here.<\/p>\n

As Ibiza<\/strong> is known for its freedom to ‘look beyond’ the norm.<\/p>\n

Whether you’re a musician<\/strong>, artist<\/strong> or designer<\/strong>. The island is a place you can be yourself, and it inspires you to develop your flair to a whole new level.<\/p>\n

From pottery <\/strong>and ceramic classes<\/strong> to painting<\/strong>.\u00a0Ibiza-focused designs<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and silversmith courses<\/strong> to open mic nights<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From paddle boarding<\/strong> to kayaking<\/strong>, sailing<\/strong> and scuba diving<\/strong>. To private boat trips<\/strong> <\/a>with your own captain included.<\/p>\n

It’s a great way to experience the breathtaking coastline, and really feel in-tune with your surroundings.<\/p>\n
