The white isle is the stuff that dreams are made out of, with extra sprinkles on top. Figuratively speaking, anything is possible in this magical party paradise; it is an island that will live up to the highest of party expectations. Day life at the luxurious beach clubs, underground parties off the beaten path, nightlife in the world\u2019s best super clubs or a boat party with a dance floor out in the Mediterranean Sea\u2026pick your poison.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For those on the island wanting to add a bit of different flavor to their holiday, a boat party may be the perfect fixing. The\u00a0Thank God We are Rebels\u00a0<\/b>boat parties, run by the lively promotional brand,\u00a0Capadi Rebels<\/b>, have been making waves since 2010.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The company promises to deliver the finest in deep house, tech house and deep tech on their voyage with you, to create a vibe paramount to any other, and to bring out your inner rebel at sea. The party takes place on a beautiful catamaran with an intimate capacity of 150, leaving Marina Botafoch twice weekly to set sail for an unforgettable 5 hour fiesta around the island. My thoughts? Yes Please!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sun cream on, well hydrated and energy levels at an all time high, I found myself excitedly waiting in Marina Botafoch of Ibiza Town with some other 100 rebels getting ready to board our party vessel. Sound systems being tweaked, canap\u00e9s and cava being prepared, the\u00a0Rebels<\/i>\u00a0flag blowing at the top of the mast, I was ready to get jiggy with it at high sea.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Upon boarding, I was immediately welcomed by the friendly crew on board with a glass of refreshing white wine, and could hear some groovy, tech-y beats already vibrating out of the sound system, which was fuelling the anticipation of all boat revellers packing themselves on board. Within minutes we were off the dock and had set the sail on our 5-hour journey.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As with most celebrations, it always takes a little time to warm up the crowd, and\u00a0Rebels<\/i>\u00a0resident DJ\u00a0Randall M<\/b>\u00a0(Tini & the Gang)<\/i>\u00a0was doing that perfectly. Starting out his set with tracks like\u00a0Since We Last Met<\/i>\u00a0(Ricardo Vilialobos Remix)\u00a0<\/i>and\u00a0Smokey Blues (Julien Fuentes Remix<\/i>) he swiftly set the mood and attracted partygoers to the dance floor right away. Wind in your hair, cranked beats, dancing under the sunshine out in the azure blue sea; it was a playground out on the water!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I decided to take a moment away from dancing and to take in the beautiful views of the Ibiza coastline and right away my glass was filled with cava once more; service was top notch! No one is getting away on this boat with an empty glass that\u2019s for sure. Looking around, I realized everyone was riding that party wave with me. Smiles, dancing and deep groovy house from\u00a0Randall M<\/i>\u00a0had taken over the rebels boat. The bass was so heavy; the fish underneath us were getting their dance on! This was a proper party.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A few hours into the voyage, and a few miles out into the Med, we got to our first point of anchorage. Tasty canap\u00e9s were passed out, and I found myself jumping off the catamaran into the gorgeous sea.\u00a0David Gtronic<\/b>\u00a0had switched onto the decks and was continuing with the wavy vibes and dropped tracks\u00a0Paris 1 (Paranoid London)<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0Points (AFFKT & Danny Fiddo)<\/i>\u00a0that had the boat shaking. What a perfect way to spend an evening in Ibiza.<\/span><\/p>\n

As darkness swallowed the sky our crossing back to shore felt like a whole new experience as the party became more intimate with people congregating within the deck area two stepping to\u00a0Randall M & David Gtronic<\/i>, now going back to back. Sunset behind us, the catamaran swiftly cut through the sea as we headed home to the white isle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
