The full IMS 5 day schedule!

The wonderful organisers have done a great job on the schedule for the International Music Conference in Ibiza. In just a mere matter of days, we’ll have all kinds of people from the music industry descend onto Ibiza for one of the biggest dance music conferences.

The five day schedule is looking pretty amazing, with more than enough events, club nights, conferences, chats, discussions and debates for the most serious music head. With out further ado, here it is.

Briefing: The IMS Business Report is referenced by major media outlets worldwide now to help quantify the value of electronic music. This year, Kevin Watson includes a focus on diversity in the genre.

1:25 pm – 1:40 pm: TICKETMASTER’S STATE OF PLAY: DANCE MUSIC Presented by Sophie Crosby (VP of Insight & Marketing, Ticketmaster International, UK)

Briefing: State of Play: Dance Music report provides essential intelligence about dance music attendees at festivals and clubs, with an in-depth dive through Ibiza’s nightlife aficionados to understand the overlap between the two types of destination. The Ticketmaster report is based on clubbers in the UK and Spain, and covers themes including attendee profiling, their demographics and tribes, who they go with, their motivations and preferences, barriers to entry, interests around music, clubs, other events, and up-selling opportunities. It will also be taking into account logistics such as how far in advance they book, how they get there, how much they spend, and examining levels of engagement such as what they do there, safety, what kind of brands and sponsors they like.
