Ibiza Resorts – The Best Places to Stay

The pine-cladded island of Ibiza is only 572.6 km² in size, yet is bursting with personality.

It’s a place where you can come to party, or get away from it all and embrace nature.

With a wide range of fantastic resorts to choose from, you’re sure to find a place that ticks all the boxes.

Check out our list of top spots to book your Ibiza 2022 holiday below.

Playa d’en Bossa

Just a 6 minute drive from the airport, this lively part of the island is popular with people of all ages and interests.

Home to some of the best parties, including , which was recently voted at the best club in the world, fantastic restaurants and the longest stretch of beach in Ibiza.

If you’re looking for a stress-free, ‘zoning out’ stay, then you can take your pick from a vast choice of relaxing hotels here. One of our favourites is Torre Del Mar for it’s stunning views, laid-back vibe and excellent service. If you’re a beach bunny then due to its size, you’ll find a spot to party, or alternately have a nap in the sunshine, without being disturbed.

Cala Llonga

Surrounded by the forest, and within just a few steps of a beautiful, 200m long sandy beach, Cala Llonga is perfect for those who like a slower pace of life.

Great for all ages, this little town located on the east coast is perfect if you want to get away from it all for a while.

With a lovely choice of restaurants and bars, such as the wonderful Can Piedra, you won’t be short on high quality places to wine and dine.

For child-free breaks check out the adult-only Grand Palladium Hotel by the waters edge. Cala Llonga also has public transport links to Ibiza Town and other parts of the island, if you fancy a change of scenery during your stay.

This quaint village in the heart of Ibiza offers visitors a real true feel of the island. With its endearing charm and mix of people, from those channelling their inner hippie, to fashionistas and local Ibicencos alike.
If you’re into good restaurants then this part of the island is home to some of the best. From vegan to vegetarian, local-catch fish restaurants to carnivore hot sports, it’s got it all.  One of our favourites is Can Mimosa, serving wonderful, locally sourced produce from their beautiful garden setting.
A great place to waste the day in a cafe, or shopping in some of the local boutiques. Santa Gertrudis is chic and stylish, whilst being uniquely ‘vibey’ yet authentic at the same time.
Check out the Hotel Gatzara Suites, for just one option if you’d like to stay in the area.

The town of San Antonio has a lot more to it than meets the eye. With some stunning little beaches and coves, and whole selection of restaurants and shops. It’s also, without a doubt, one of the best spots on the island to watch the famous sunset from.
The evening markets in the square offers people the opportunity to purchase local, hand made gifts, along with clothing, jewellery and more.
There’s always lots happening here throughout the year, and there is a good choice of places to stay. From pocket friendly to 5 star, this town on the south-west coast has it all. It’s also the home of Es Paradis and Eden, two of the best clubs on the island.

If you like being in the mix of everything but still want to feel part of the true culture here, then Ibiza Town is a fantastic place to stay or visit. It’s a real melting pot of people going about their lives here.
Everything you’re in search of is within easy reach. From the direct ferry to Formentera, boutique, high-end and high-street shops, a plethora of restaurants, cafes and bars. It’s also home to some of the most vibrant nightlife and of course, the historic Dalt Vila, with panoramic views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Don’t be fooled by thinking there isn’t a beach nearby either. Just a few minutes walk from town you’ll find Figueretas, a lovely stretch of sand with a good option of eateries along the promenade.

Nestled away in the north the island you’ll find the former fishing village of Portinatx. A world away from the clubs, and a haven for sun-worshipers and those looking for a more chilled holidaying experience.
With a large beach and three beautiful coves, it’s a favourite for explorers looking to make the most of their surroundings.
Whilst you won’t find a thriving nightlife here, you won’t be bored either. There’s plenty of places to eat and drink in the summer months, and you’ll also find some live music happening sporadically.
It’s all very low-key here, so enjoy the tranquil side of life and go with the flow. If you’re looking to stay here then have a look into booking the Barecló Hotel (adults only). If you’re a family and looking for something extra special, then we recommend Six Senses.

Wherever you decide, you’re sure to have a fantastic time in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
