The Best Sunset Hotels in Ibiza 2022

Ibiza is renowned for its stunning scenery, beaches and of course breathtaking sunsets.

From watching the glowing red and orange fireball sinking into the sea, whilst listening to the biggest and best DJs on the island at the sunset strip, to being high up in the hills in your own private sanctuary. There’s numerous magical places to sit in awe, before a night of dancing under the Balearic sky.

It’s such a beautiful thing to witness, so who wouldn’t want to take advantage of it whilst on holiday?

Below we’ve chosen a selection of higher-end hotels to stay at here on the white isle, ones with the best sunset views and great amenities.

Amare Hotel

Amare Hotel

This relatively new (2019) hotel in San Antonio Bay offers a relaxing break, with pristine rooms, spa, gym and two large swimming pools. The decor is fresh yet eclectic, with a selection of artwork and sculptures from a range of creatives such as Jordi Gómez and Gerald Más.

Amare‘s restaurant and pool area are something to be admired, and their sunset views are simply unforgettable. Enjoy dinner and cocktails on those warm summer evenings, with the glowing rays in the distance. A perfect spot for those loved-up holiday snaps in paradise.

Hostal La Torre

Hostal La Torre

Located in Cap Negret (just outside San Antonio town), Hostal La Torre is a popular place for visitors from all over the world.

Owned by the famous Mambo Group (Cafe Mambo, Villa Mercedes etc), La Torre provides its guests with a blend of traditional-come-modern decor and surroundings, overlooking the rocky cliffs and picturesque seascape.

With comfortable rooms decorated to a high standard, this beautiful Spanish establishment has a very quaint charm about it.

Whilst being within a short drive of the hustle and bustle of San Antonio, it feels a million miles away, in nature and showcasing breathtaking views of the world-famous sunset. With a number of well-known DJs frequenting the decks during summer to play the best in Balearic chill-out music, it’s a fantastic spot to enjoy some down-time at one of the best locations in the world.

A place to also visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and a place to capture nightfall at its glorious peak.

7Pines

7Pines

The opulent 7Pines resort is tucked away on the clifftop in between Cala Conta and Cala Codolar. Secluded and luxurious, this hotel provides guests with a panoramic view of the Mediterranean and all it has to offer, including the spectacular sunsets throughout the summer months.

The 185 ibicencan-styled suites and three pools are spread over a huge space, so you’ll always have room to yourself. Enjoy lazy days in the sun, occasionally swimming up to one of their two pool bars for a cocktail, chill-out in the spa or have dinner at one of their 3 delectable restaurants (including Japanese and Tapas options). Why not treat yourself to a stylish break somewhere as special as here this summer?

Petunia Ibiza

Petunia Ibiza

Perched on the clifftop on the south-west coast of the island, Cala Carbó is home to the gorgeous Hotel Petunia. With only 41, authentic whitewashed rooms, you get a sense of owning your own private space here, if only for a short while. If you’re all about those intimate, homely vibes, then their large, comfortable beds with crisp white linen, beautiful home interior and floral exteriors surrounded with the islands native plants and flowers, will make you feel in your element.

A fantastic choice for romantic getaways, the adults-only Petunia is a must-visit, even if it’s just for dinner in one of their three, gastronomic restaurants. If that’s not enough to tempt you, then the views of the majestic Es Vedra will definitely have you sold.

The sunset slowly going down aside ‘the third most magnetic place on earth’, really is something very special to watch.

Six Senses

Six Senses

Located at Xarraca bay, in the north of the island, this sumptuous getaway is idyllic, relaxing and perfect for those who want some peace and quiet from their time-out.

The perfect Mediterranean escape, Six Senses is a place to unwind and breathe-in the pine-infused surrounding nature.

It’s a pretty large hotel (20-acres), with 116 guest accommodations, but it’s spread out so perfectly, that you won’t feel as though that’s the case. The hotel has a spa, four fantastic restaurants (and of course bars) and a handful of excursions on offer, so you’ll never run out of things to keep you occupied during your visit. And when it’s time to unwind, grab yourself a cocktail and chill on the terrace, whilst looking at the marvellous view out to sea.

Wi-Ki-Woo

Wi-Ki-Woo

If you’re after something a little more lively and near to the action, then booking a stay here will not disappoint. San Antonio has sprung back this summer, and the parties have well and truly returned. One of the go-to hotels for the young (and young at heart),  is the colourful (and perfectly located) Wi-Ki-Woo Hotel.

With its bright pink and mint colour-scheme, flower arches, lit-up palm trees and ‘instagrammble’ decor, these vibrant lodgings are the place to stay if you’re looking for an upbeat, yet sophisticated holiday with your favourite people.

Their Asian-fusion menu oozes with flavour and freshness, their winning cocktails pack a punch and the view, oh the view…
